You’ve done a DNA test. Now what? We can help.

Our DNAAdoption.com vision statement:

Helping everyone trying to find their biological roots through DNA testing be as successful as possible.

Our mission is to teach and guide people searching for their biological roots, using DNA in combination with traditional genealogy search techniques, by providing a robust methodology, guidance, and support.

Our goals:

Provide everyone—not just adoptees, foundlings, and those with unexpected DNA results—information they can use to learn more about their biological roots.

Ensure our students and those using our methodology are able to use basic tools to evaluate their DNA results and to provide an environment where students can build up advanced skills.

Offer courses which provide up-to-date instruction on how to gather, analyze and interpret DNA results in conjunction with traditional genealogy search techniques.

Provide guidance and support to anyone on a journey of discovery for biological connections.

As a 501c3 non-profit organization, serve as a resource to the genetic genealogy community by providing education and increased awareness of information, resources, and lessons learned from the adoption community.

Continue to create and refine our curriculum and maintain a repository of information about tools, techniques and sources via the efforts of our all-volunteer team.

Promote open sharing of records between individuals as well as government agencies.

Encourage civil, considerate communication with newly found or potential biological family.
